Product Review: Get Spicy Shampoo Bar (Sand for Soapaholics)

Hi Team Cravers,

Today, I will be reviewing a product from Sand for Soapaholics. It is their “Get Spicy” Shampoo Bar. I have never really been a bar shampoo person. Last I had tried one was by Lush, since this brand is the closest you would get to Lush in India, I thought of giving this one a shot.

Coming to the packaging of the product, it comes in a plastic cover wrapping. The packaging is quite disappointing, once you use this product you need to find your own soap case which can be annoying sometimes. The packaging also makes the product very inconvenient to travel with.

The texture of this one is very gritty. It has small granules in it and the bar in Maroon in colour.

Product Claims: Join us as we take you down the spice route with our aroma-filled Clove and Cinnamon shampoo bar. After having carefully dried the flowers and bark for the essential oils, these invigorating herbs, mixed with Sesame Oil, and Brahmi Powder, will give your hair a boost of extra nourishment, leaving them silky and shiny all day long.

How to use: Wet your hair; rub the bar through the hair few times. Give the bar a quick rinse and keep aside. Rinse your hair thoroughly.

I have been using this product for almost two weeks now, the product lathers really well and thoroughly cleans your hair. It has a really strong cinnamon and clove fragrance, hence the name get spicy. This product is perfect for someone with oily hair as it takes away all the oil and adds a nice bounce to your hair. The clove and cinnamon helps you keep your hair away from dandruff and also all other infections. And the best part it does not contain any chemicals and is organic, so no harmful side effects to your hair.

I would really suggest this to someone with oily hair!

You can buy it here.
