Innisfree Customizable Foundation (Water Fit Cushion N31 SPF 34 PA++) Review

Hello Team Cravers!

It's been a while since the Cushion Foundations have taken the beauty world by storm. Lancome was the first brand that I came across which brought cushion foundations. I am not someone who plays around too much with their foundations, I find my favourite and try to stick by them Recently I have been using the Maybelline Fit me Foundation and the Kiko Unlimited Foundation.

I got a chance to visit the Innisfree store to try their new customisable Waterfit foundation. I was really excited to get a chance to try the cushion foundation.

So let me explain in simple terms what a cushion foundation is. A cushion is basically a sponge which is soaked in foundation which is then hosted in a case. You press/dab the puff on the cushion and the foundation transfers from the cushion on to the puff. Then you use the puff to dab the foundation on your skin to get a smooth finish.

I really liked the idea of a cushion foundation especially in terms of how travel friendly it is. You can easily throw it in your bag without the fear of leakage or breakage of the glass bottle. It is super easy to blend as well.

The best part about the Innisfree Customizable Foundation is that you can customize it according to your needs. So you can have to buy the following three things:

A. Foundation Refill :  This is priced at INR 900/-. This is comes in two variants i.e. Water fit and Long Wear Cover. I was advised to try the water fit variant for my combination skin type.

B. Cushion Case: This is priced at INR 600/-. This for me is the most exciting part about the foundation. You can choose your own favourite case, I took 15 minutes to decide as I loved so many of them. They have prints as well as solid colours. I chose a red colour one, i really liked the yellow polka dot one also but they din't have them in stock. I hear they have recently launched emoji cases too (How Exciting!!)

C. Puff: This is priced at INR 150/-. I chose the normal air magic puff but they also have another option which was for like stamping the foundation.

This foundation needs a moisturizer before you use it on your face. I like to apply my Biotique Morning Nector before I apply the foundation. The foundation sets in rather quickly and it stays for a good 5-6 hours without any powder for setting it. It hasn't broken me out and it also blends in really well into my skin. I have been using this every time i step out as it gives me a nice dewy finish and adds a nice glow to my skin.

I would highly recommend you to try this foundation not only just for the drool worthy packaging but also a very smooth formulae. However, if you are looking for something to cover your acne spots, this one is not for you as it provides light to medium coverage.
