A new Brewery in Gurgaon - After Stories

Today I am going to introduce you to a place that has recently become my favourite place to drink at in Gurgaon. I recently visited After Stories, which is located right behind IFFCO chowk metro station. The location is great in terms of avoiding the crazy Saturday traffic at Sector 29 market.

After Stories has really plush interiors that have been tastefully done and the pub area is spread over three floors which also has an outdoor seating. Every floor serves a different kind of crowd, they  have a floor if you are visiting with your family and want a low music atmosphere, another floor is meant for your saturday night party mood and the third floor is for your private parties.

After Stories is a Micro Brewery with impeccable food options. We were first served the beer tasters, they have a number of options like Belgian Wit Beer, Apple Cider, Cyser, Milk Stout and Peach Ginger Melomel. We decided to roll our evening by ordering the Belgian Wit Beer and the Apple Cider.

Along with with beer we were served two breads along with a tomato chutney which had the perfect blend of sweet and spice. It went perfectly with the beer.

After which the food started pouring in, at first we were served with a vegetarian platter which included:

1. Lotus Stem
2. Crispy Potato in vindo loo curry garnish with sabodana
3. Achari Bharwa Aloo
4. Tandoori Cheese Mushroom
5. Veg Stuffed Puff Roll
6. Paneer Tikka
7. Baby Potato

My favourites from this platter undoubtedly has to be the Crispy Potato in vindo loo curry garnish with sabodana, it was really something different, I usually don't like potatoes so much, but this one was delicious.

While we were enjoying our drink, came a plate of heaven, the non-veg platter.  This platter included:

1. Tawa Meat
2. Thai Lemon Fish
3. Siracha Chicken
4. Baked Chicken Tikka
5. Rawa Pepper Chicken

I would really recommend the Thai Lemon Fish, and if you know me, then you know my love for spicy food, so I have to say the Siracha Chicken was sumptuous.

Although, after eating so much, we had absolutely no space in our tummy for any more food but how could we leave without trying the main course. So we were served with the most innovative and exquisite dishes which were the lamb shank with blueberry pulao and the double cooked old delhi style chicken with Khamiri roti.

The Lamb Shank was super inviting and very palatable. The mutton was really well done and it was paired with the blueberry rice which was so innovative and super tasty.

This place has definitely become one of favourite places to be on a weekend, it offers you a large number of choices from their micro brewery along with really flavourful food.
